2022 DMV Girls Scores

We will know more about Visi in the next few days. They play STAB in Charlottesville on Saturday then SSSAS Monday. Tough games ahead.

It’s the coaching not the players. Saints players are not great this year but KJ knows how to coach and get the best out of her players. Few coaches in our area have half her skill. Most couldn’t coach their team out of a paper bag.

It's time for the DC schools to get a shot clock. Games would be more about skill (and coaches will have to develop their players more) instead of strategizing about how to run down the clock to preserve goal differentials. Until they do, no school in DMV can even compare to IAAM schools.

Or, the opposing coaches could develop their own players to gain their own lead and/or learn how to gain possession backwithout all those yellow cards. It wasn't bad sportsmanship, which you were heard loud and clear complaining to your co-parents on the sidelines about yesterday.

Yes Kathy (slow) Ball is alive and well in the DC area, but if you don’t have the players I guess you need to work your best game plan.

These arguments would work if the boys weren't playing with a shot clock. Girls lacrosse is like watching paint dry. It also isn't preparing the girls for the next level.

It was pathetic coaching. Your coach sucks. So bad she has to bring her dad in to help her.

Seriously? IAAM just deployed the rule this season. If your team had been the one up by 2 and keeping possession you would not be complaining today. And your coach would have done the same thing.

Visi and SR played yesterday and both are good solid teams. They have a different style but both are competitive and game could go either way. Talent on both and both appeared to be coached well. SR looked a bit stronger but Visi came back and looked better 2nd half, so who knows. Kudos to both teams.

Great coaches find ways to adjust to the personnel on their roster to mitigate risks.

If the Saints aren't a super, fast team this Spring, then why would they play a run & gun type offense?

Kathy is in the HOF for a reason, she clearly knows how to get the best out of her players.

which girls from the past 5 years have actually contributed at a high level in Division 1 lacrosse? Specifically from DC area schools? I would estimate it is less than 20 who earn 1rst team league honors at the next level.

Why are we spending time destroying a coach/players that win games? Each team has the same rules…last I checked. Get over it. Get better next year. Stop being agist on an excellent coach.

Did something happen in the Holton - Potomac game yesterday?

All I saw was the final score in which Potomac won 9-7.
