| It sounds like Potomac ran out the clock with a lead and someone implied that the Potomac coach had her Dad help coach? Sounds like an eventful game. Also know that the Holton parents can be high maintenance so who knows? |
Didn't SR do this to VISI yesterday in the last couple of minutes? Sounds like a common strategy. |
Part of the issue is Capital’s approach to development. They are more concerned with club or team development rather than success at the next or college level. That’s why they don’t develop dominate players. |
Agree that the coaching is great and that the talent elsewhere is catching up. Certainly, schools don't go on 40 year runs of success without at least one great coach. At some point, KJ will retire. Will Saints find a Taylor Cummings to step right into the breach? |
| BI 16 — PVI 9 |
Except Potomac did it for last 10 minutes. |
| Actually the final was BI 16-8 PVI. And let’s be clear it wasn’t that close. It was 16-4 with 5 min left and BI cleared the bench. |
crazy Holton parent, what point are you trying to make? Potomac won the game fair and square. Move on |
PVI beat Visi and STAB this year. Anyone else find this collapse against BI surprising? |
Didn't Holton put pressure or double team the ball? If Potomac controlled the ball for a long period of time under pressure then good for them. |
Injuries maybe? Maybe that’s why they skipped the Loyola game too |
This isn’t a new sentiment—People hated Dean Smith when he ran the Four Corners. Thankfully the game change and so should the rules here—it’s not keep away. |
Except the rules haven't changed in women's lacrosse. If coaches and players feel playing like playing "keep away" is their strategy to win given what is on their roster, so be it. It worked... |
Exactly. The parent of a D1 commit is a little upset that they were beat by mostly freshmen, who had no trouble scoring when they needed to and keeping possession when they needed. |
