The closed schoolers hide behind minorities, immunocompromised and the elderly to protect themselves from getting a cold. For them, they're the true anti-vaxxers as they don't think vaccines work since they don't stop transmission.

They cannot get 1 cold (although Ventilation Woman seems to think she's going to be permanently disabled by getting COVID, just like so many healthy people are in their 40s when they get the flu ).

From AEM, you can see how out of touch they are. When you're overwhelmingly losing a poll on AEM (which has the most COVID paranoid people at APS), then you know you're out of touch.

Cannot believe you are gloating about a self-selected, meaningless INTERNET POLL and thinking you've contributed something of value. Are you an adult?

AEM has the biggest COVID paranoid people in the APS community. If they're overwhelmingly voting down shutting down extracurriculars, then you know it's very unpopular in the broader APS community.

This is a silly debate. The voting pool is only those people who care enough to vote. So, among those who feel strongly enough to bother with a vote, about 200 are against shutting down sports. I guess you feel that a win for your side but it's not telling you much more than that. Do people with no real skin in that game care one way or another? I am against shutting down sports. But I didn't vote. I also don't care that they are shutting down. It just doesn't affect me at all.

I support the decision to shut down sports for 2 weeks. But I didn't bother to vote in the meaningless poll.

Internet polls (which mean nothing) is the last bastion of someone who has a losing argument.
