Not only do they need to be sacrificing their childhood to protect the people who have died (average age of death being life expectancy, with the majority being in nursing homes or hospice centers), they should also be saying 3 "COVID is airborne"s and 3 "I will use better masks"'s every night.

A 2 week break is not going to matter for those few kids from Arlington who get college athletic scholarships. If they’re good enough, colleges already know about them and it won’t come down to a short pause.

Results are in, and the effect of prolonged school closures on kids generally was a very bad one. It was catastrophic for poor minorities.

All the athletes are all hanging out together and practicing informally together right now, but now they're not being testing. Surveillance testing is stupid anyway, and we need to get away from counting cases for an endemic virus.
