I’m glad people are noticing. We have a beautiful illusion of choice for the most part.

The framing of this is misleading and sloppy, per usual. This is why tendentious tweets like this are silly.

By the very same polling, you could report that "By a whopping 29-point margin, a majority of Americans say that inflation is caused by the Biden Administration's policies. Americans are catching on to this incompetent Administration!"

The GDP report from the BEA is out.
U.S. economy grew 5.7 percent in 2021, fastest full-year clip since 1984, despite ongoing pandemic

Sure, the best growth in almost 40 years is “horrible.” Keen analysis.

6.9% growth in the 4th quarter. For the first time in 20 years, the U.S. economy grew faster than China’s.

It's gotta help that we aren't spending $300,00,000 a day, every day, for being in Afghanistan. Thank you Joe Biden!

That's an amazing number.

Absolutely. 2021 was the strongest calendar year growth in GDP, the benchmark for measuring the economy, since 1984, when Ronald Reagan was in office. That was before the baby Trumpers like Lauren Boebert and Madison Cawthorn were born.

For sure a big piece of it is corporate greed and profiteering. Gasoline prices is one of the big driving factors, with gas prices having taken a huge jump - yet gas company profits are way up. That shows it's a money grab.

Interest rates have been pegged at near 0 for 12 years. That's also driving inflation. That's likely to end soon. Let's just hope the Fed doesn't overdo it and push us into a recession.
