Oh there are so many more things to criticize M about then his stance on Education. His shady business practices and his friendship with Weinstein and the Clintons. |

As someone else said...sticks and stones. Who cares what sign they put up. Ignore and move on. It'll come down before any effect on home value or life style. And if you were going to sell your house w that sign up, you'd have no idea if that would help or hurt you in that sale.
Life's too short to worry about this kind of thing. |
Goodness you’ve been busy tracking property values in your neighborhood and consistently polling all of your neighbors about a sole neighbor. You must have an impressive data base to share with the other SAHMs. |
You should certainly be careful of anyone who supports the current photographed-in-blackface-or-is-he-the-one-in-the-klan hood governor and anyone who works in his administration. If Youngkin does the same and your neighbors still support him they deserve suspicion. |
| So how does it work now? Do you have to move or do you simply smile at your neighbor and act like a human being. Who knows, maybe you can both get along. |
No, you don't move. You ignore them most of the time and wave when you have to. I have a lot of Youngkin neighbors in the area. I smile, nod and walk away. No reason to engage in conversation. We live on the same street but we are not friends. Simple |
|
I have lots of friends on both sides of the isle. It would never occur to me to "litmus test" my friends. One of my super conservative friends has a daughter who is a fantastic baby sitter. Should she be shunned?
I guess once we all belong to the same party we can get to the problems that really matter... Density and banning cars. |
| Put your house on the market. |
It sounds like you are better off being shut out of the neighborhood crowd. |
| Keep it cordial, but know that they may not really be accepting of you - but that could be true of lots of folks for lots of reasons. Mostly all the Youngkin voters make me sad - not critical thinkers, voting against their own self interests, easily duped, seemingly ok with eventual authoritarian rule for this country. |
| Ha ha... Not critical thinkers. You mean they don't think like you. You belong to that "I believe in freedom of speech, but one true belief" cult. Good luck with that. |
| You should move to China. |
| Yes! The Bill Maher one true opinion theory! That was the downfall of the D's last night. Repubs believe that more than one opinion can be right at the same time. D'S are now the party of one true opinion. |
Nice try, but we're the fun house that throws all the neighborhood parties. The Youngkin folks tend to be the older white Boomers so they wouldn't come anyway. The younger homeowners all tend to swing D so it's not an issue. We wave at the old, angry, white folks, though. Not much else you can do with them |
After last night you really have no idea who is a Youngkin voter. |
