| Rose... Sigh. When Kane asked her about her favorite Prince song(s) it was so obvious she probably had to google him that morning just to know who he was. And that's okay! But saying "Um... I mean.... Like ALL of them are just.... So good, you know, uh... Like... (Typing in the background) kiss? Yeah, Kiss" oooof. It's times like that that Rose just doesn't work for me. When she doesn't know something she subscribes to the fake it til you make it philosophy, but she can't fake it at all, and it makes me as a listener uncomfortable. |

I used to get annoyed when Kane or IJ would cut Rose off, but I don't anymore. I can honestly see why they get pissy with her. Say if (as an example) a listener called in, pissed that her boyfriend went crazy at a bachelor party and lied about it. Typical convo/questions would be:
K: it's one thing to say boys will be boys, but do you know exactly what happened? How do you know? IJ: Did you talk about ground rules before he left? Rose: well, I mean, if you guys talked about him not acting a certain way, and then he DID act that way, then, well, you know, that's not okay! As dumb and trivial as their topics can be, Kane and IJ (and Danni, before she left) are good at synthesizing the topic and generating discussion. Rose just bobs along and rarely makes a point/asks good questions. If she was fired tomorrow I don't think there would be even 10% of the cluster-f that was Danni's exit. I think she sounds lovely as a person, but just isn't cut out for this type of show. |

I don't see any proof that this site is directly mentioned there. Regarding Rose not knowing who Prince is, that isn't too surprising. Most people her age don't know what good music to begin with, meaning, 80's music. Maybe she should listen to Sirius from time to time and the 80's channel. |

I have met Kane twice, and that was over 5 years ago, and he had a bald spot then. I know people younger than him that hardly have any hair left, and it wasn't by choice. |

Spare me! What a ridiculous statement. I'm over 50 and I love all genres/eras of music. Live in the present, not in the past. And, as far as Rose, she wasn't hired to be the co-host. She's gotten thrown into a position that she might not have been ready for. Yes, she is sometimes awkward, but overall, she's endearing. She just needs to mature some. |
