I saw something on CNN about how NY is now implementing these. They look like online sex offender maps.
It would be nice if that was carried out nationwide. It would help in knowing whose house not to let your kids go to and who to avoid in general unless you absolutely have to deal with them. |

Actually, AIDS isn't transmitted over distances, unlike bullets (and also, sick people are only trash in your universe, not mine). As far as illegal aliens are concerned, they pick your food, serve you in restaurants, mow your lawn. If you fear them, maybe you should leave (and take your guns with you). |

We're not the ones hear illegally. Illegally. As in breaking the law. They should not be doing any of the above activities. It's not about fear, it's about law and our politicians who feel free to pick and choose which ones they want to follow, and people like you who not only don't hold them accountable, but actually vote them in. |

Maybe I am confused, but isn't AIDS is a medical condition (so a map would be prohibited legally) and doesn't the government already deport illegal aliens when it finds them? As for gun owners, I see no reason not to have a map tracking them. |

| Folks, it's a general erosion of on-line privacy. Gun owners will no doubt feel picked on in a paranoid way, but they shouldn't. Several on-line services will map political contributors. If you were a Romney or Obama donor above the FEC reporting threshold, how do you feel about being mapped? Frankly, I would like to know who in my neighborhood is licensed to keep a gun so that I can decide under what circumstances I want my kids playing in their home. |
