Cannot and will not vote for either Harris or Trump.

The DNC and their candidates do receive more in campaign donations from pro-Israel sources but it's hundreds of millions of dollars going both ways. They are all bought and paid for politicians at this point. People that will end up voting for Trump are idiots. People that vote for Harris aren't as dumb as the Trump voters. The smartest people will give both of them and their awful parties the middle finger on election day. We must show them that we are tired of this money ruling politics garbage. We have a Government for the money and by the money instead of for the people and by the people. Wake up folks! They all suck.

The smartest will choose to help elect Donald Trump?

Seems counterintuitive. Please, elaborate for those of us who have not been blessed with your omniscience.

+1

The main power that “the people” have is voting.

If you don’t vote then the only thing you’re doing is throwing away your power.

For a lot us high school football was fun, I still remember all our coaches, and they we all called them coach. Just because they were amazing people doesn't mean we should vote for them for President. I am worried that some guys I know will vote for him just because he was a coach.

You do know that after he was a coach he became a member of congress and governor, right?
Although frankly… the world would probably be a lot better if we did elect some public school football coach/social studies teachers.

Millions of people voted for a rapey, mentally and emotionally unstable conman. I'd rather vote for a coach.

I'm probably not going to vote for her mostly because of her politics, but it was a really good speech, as was Walz's. I definitely get the excitement

Her agenda is centrist and mainstream. Just curious what you don't like? She is an extension of Biden - support global alliances, grow the economy, create jobs etc.

Every bit of the Harris-Walz agenda has majority support in the US. It’s the Republicans who let extremists control their agenda.

But he was also the faculty advisor to the students’ LGTBQIA+ club at the high school too.

Truth bomb.

No one with a conscience can vote for either of them. No way.

Oh lookie, another stooge trying to trick us into staying home and electing Trump.

Thank you.

Also, I'm curious if the people thinking they'll vote for 45 or stay home watched the DNC's video about January 6. Republicans were running away from that mob.

You want a conservative in office? Then don't vote for Trump, because that's not what you're getting.

A coach who has government experience. A coach whose entire professional life was in service to others. Yes, easy decision. Again.

Does anyone know how much of this was already in the works before the candidate change? For example, did they already plan that energetic roll call? The prep required to get all the music, mics, order, slides, etc was a LOT. Kudos to whoever pulled that off.

Most of the production elements were already in motion. Remember that they transitioned in 2020 from in-person to virtual convention in a couple of months and pulled off a great production. The Democratic Governors, Senators, and House leaders were always going to speak. The labor, reproductive freedom, and other issue areas and speakers were mostly set. The roll call was going to be jazzed up in some way. The Trump videos and talking points were generally the same. All they had to change was more Harris videos, speakers, and content, and the Walz videos, speakers, and content.

Also, understand that all the delegates were elected as Biden delegates through their state’s primary and caucus system. The diverse delegations you saw on the floor are the Democratic Party leaders in their states, excited about Harris and Walz, but also there for Biden. Democrats are not a bunch of different factions fighting each other. That is the one thing Trump has accomplished. He unified the Democratic Party.

Personally I’m good with the politicians that don’t side with the groups burning American flags and calling for jihad. I can’t believe that’s happening on American soil. Moronic. But you do you.

Mccain didn't grow up rich, did he?

Bill Clinton probably grew up in the poorest family among modern presidents.

Bill Clinton’s mother was a nurse anesthetist and was middle class for a single parent in Arkansas.

Whats middle class for a single parent mean? Who else is aware of this inside info?

I also heard his mom was part of the hot springs mafia.

I think about 50 percent of “single parent” claims are fraudulent. Just because you don’t like your ex partner, does not make you a “single parent. “

Not sure if you were around when Harris was growing up, but I am her age. Co-parenting wasn’t really a thing then. The vast majority of the time moms had the kids and dads saw their kids every other weekend.

This is an area where things have really improved with experience.

Kramer v Kramer wouldn’t be as novel today.

+1. I’m ten years younger than Harris with very typical of the time divorced parents. My mother was a single mother who occasionally got a child support check or a weekend of free babysitting every now and then. Split custody and co-parenting were not a thing for Gen X as kids.

A coach who knows how to motivate people to do and be their best vs some weird dude who courts silicon valley rich money (I worked in SV in tech), and thinks there's only one right way to be a family, and wants to force your wives and daughters to give birth to their rapists' babies.

Easy choice.

If the people burning flags and calling for Jihad donated hundreds of millions of dollars to the RNC and DNC every election cycle, our politicians would be siding with the people burning flags and calling for Jihad. Follow the money and see where it comes from and then link that to everything our awful GOP and Dem politicians do.
