those 2 concepts aren't mutually dependent.

1) “DA being the stronger development program” isn’t connected to
2) This persons DD getting a spot on DA or ECNL.

please, can you just stop? it’s tiring with this sock puppet comment.

What is it you aren't following?

It's 6/7 from same team that were offered positions they were offered at least a month ago if not longer but not officially.
Now they're holding out which may put a link in that travel clubs tryouts this week

And no coach announced that I'm aware of.

Settle down FCV/Loudoun parent. Concerned that the Spirit 06 DA team will be better than yours? Don't worry, we all know that your players are big, strong, and athletic and will win many games. No need to stir the pot elsewhere. Just because a club is looking for a player or two to round out a roster of 20 does not mean anything is a mess.

seriously, this and the previous are like stream of consciousness, very hard to understand. i had to guess at the meaning and i’m still not sure i understand without an interpreter to help.

Who is holding out and you mean kink? why does it matter? it should be about girls getting better because of training, not because dead ringers are staying so your kid will be on a winning record team.

Who has room for 6 ringers in one place now anyways?

For Immediate Release

Concorde Fire has always competed at the top level of competition for our elite female players. After evaluating the complete soccer landscape and carefully reviewing all information on the local, regional, and national levels of female soccer, we believe what is best for the players and families of Concorde Fire is to become an ECNL All-In member for our elite female players. ECNL is the most in line with Concorde Fire and its members’ vision and core values.

As a founding member of ECNL, Concorde Fire has thrived at the top level of competition for our elite female players through the ECNL platform, producing National team, NWSL, and collegiate players. Concorde Fire and ECNL are dedicated to excellence on and off the field.

We look forward to competing with over 80 All-In clubs that represent a large number of the most successful clubs in the history of American female soccer. The list of outstanding clubs can be found on the ECNL website (http://www.eliteclubsnationalleague.com/)

Concorde Fire is also excited to announce that we will field two ECNL[u] teams in the U15, U16, U17 and U18 age groups for the 2018-2019 season. There will continue to be one team in the U13 and U14 age groups. This will allow more players to “Raise the Game” and experience the five core values of ECNL and compete in an elite environment with unmatched collegiate exposure.

Concorde Fire looks forward to continuing to produce the next generation of collegiate stars and National team players and to support the success of ALL players’ dreams and aspirations and to fully support the success of US Soccer National Teams.

While DA is losing another club to ECNL taking note of the emphasized it is clear not only why some clubs are choosing ECNL and that is that instead of charging just 80 kids $3000 a pop they can now charge 160 kids $3000 a pop. So a club like Concord Fire and PDA fielding two teams per age group is not making ECNL "Elite" but it is making those clubs more money than DA.

Search the word "socket puppet" and you will see over 10 comments this mut has made. He's an ECNL hack. Not sure he has actually offered anything of value other than is sarcasm.

Perhaps you should just focus your efforts on the substance of the post rather than worry about who you think the poster is or is not.

OP is an FCV parent who is worried that recruiting is not going well so needs to throw a jab at WS. Truth is that FCV younger teams are weak, they rely on recruiting and spring tryouts are not going well. FCV DA 04 is losing their best player to Loudoun ECNL. FCV 06 and 07 and 08 are bad teams with few players. They have to shuffle kids between teams. Nobody good is showing up to their tryouts.

FCV04 is losing their best player to Loudoun ECNL? From what I heard, four contracts were not renewed and one is leaving on her own accord for VDA ECNL.

Has that changed? Would be a nice pickup for Loudoun ECNL, which I will admit, thought would be weak.

And BTW..the four contracts not renewed were for pretty decent players...but that's the FCV way. Cut good players for the next best thing that doesn't end up as the next best thing so they cut them as well for the next best thing.

Another patent thinking their kid is best player in area.

Good luck with the ECNL. No need to bash the GDA just enjoy your time playing for Loudoun.

I don't think they automatically gain 80 new players. Those players are already in the club paying fees, albeit less. The fact is the business model of GDA does not suit the clubs. Last I checked all these clubs are businesses. Its just a fact of youth soccer in the US that it has to make sense financially. You cannot blame a league format for that.
