Is there any reason to dislike Herschel Walker?

I'm pretty sure the news about Herschel this week will make many of his R "family values" supporters like him even more.

Herschel Walker was an outstanding and much beloved UGA football player who rose to stardom after growing up in a small rural community with few opportunities for anyone, especially if Black. I think voters will cut him a lot of slack.

I gotta say, if I found out a candidate had paid for a murder, I would not vote that candidate. Murder is not something I cut slack for.

Yeah but you know the "pro-life" liars actually don't believe abortion is murder. Evey they themselves know they're full of shit. They just think women need to be controlled, and lying is what you do to get what you want. So Herschel is a-ok by them.

+1 This is how you know they don’t actually give a shit about this and it was all just a rallying cry to unite the right in the 70s. They keep re-electing Scott Desjarlais in Tennessee as well and he’s paid for more than one. That guy in PA who resigned over this and then Conor Lamb won his seat must be kicking himself.

Ask his son.

Can you imagine the decibel level of MAGA shrieking that would have ensued if even half these types of revelations had come out about Warnock?

I think many that vote for him will relate to his hypocrisy, more than they're willing to overlook his hypocrisy.

Yes. If he thinks abortion is murder, he is guilty of murder. MAGAS are hypocrites if they forgive it. That poor baby would be almost thirteen.

Walker has literally never done anything right other than be a good football player.

MAGA world view:

-Doctors who perform abortions = criminals who must be thrown in jail.

-women who get abortions = going to hell (at a minimum) and some now starting to say they are also criminals who should be thrown in jail.

- Men who pay their side piece to get an abortion = ladies and gentlemen, make this hero a f**king US senator!!!

The abortion happened in 2009, way after his struggling years.

Excuse me?? Where are all the DCUM posters who cite the longlasting ever after growing up years as an excuse for criminal behavior??

Does it matter? Relatable hypocrisy (as opposed to ingrained values) is an attitude that's pervasive in Republican America, no matter the state or background.

I'm a non-black, minority (in many ways) woman, if it matters to you.
