How do you know when your DD doesn't want to play soccer anymore?

Not sure if you aware but they have this called the Little League World Series on ESPN. Should also mention many of Chinese Olympians are probably the same age.

Pretty weak effort on deflection.

Pretty awful to watch all the way around. Do girls just not work on technical skills that much after U11s/U12? A couple of decent players but I guess this is where top boys soccer begins to look totally different than top girls soccer.

What did you expect? Technical possession game with intelligent passing? This is Arlington. VDA and Loudoun are probably even worse.

VDA just plays kickball and hopes for long shot goals.

You're right, someone had to win that game.

Looks like the recipe to beat Arlington would be the classic 5-5 formation LOL. No need to bother worrying about the midfield. Press Arlington's back line and and let the rest just sit back and receive the air balls to the forwards.

Maybe if they watched video of their games or actual soccer matches they might realize how horrible they play.

I’m a little disappointed after watching that video. I expected ECNL players to have a lot more technical skills, passing skills and possession, etc. But they are all big & fast though.

No idea how Arlington is winning games. Certainly any decent team should be able to out play what I just witnessed. Looks like 08 Loudoun but only with more skill. Yuck.

The sad thing is Arlington parents are proud of the wins and if they would just risk sacrificing some short term success to work on aspects of the game these kids could be so much better in time. Congrats I guess but it is embarrassing when that style and level of technical play is representing the "success of NOVA soccer".

This style just ahs limited upside and is simply one dimensional. The wins do matter so props to that but this team is pretty capped as far as it go on higher level than just divisional games. And lets not forget, the more film gets out the more opponents can adapt down the road. And that is happening already based on the early season split:

Arlington's Goal Differential in their first two games was +7 the last two games the Goal Differential dropped to +2.

So lets not crown Arlington Division Champs just yet.

Here is Bryc vs Cesa. I found this one really hard to watch.

Looks like we're going to be able to see every ecnl team in the Mid-Atlantic division if this guy is filming!

I hope he has signed permission slips from each parent. NOVA parents don't play.

You don't need permission when filming in public spaces. Get a clue.
