many of these illegals will choose to leave on their own, getting to leave with luggage and money and not having to be in prison.

Being here illegally is not a crime. I again ask, what harm are these people causing that they deserve to be chased down in the streets by masked men?

Their taxes do not cover the cost of heightened services they need in schools. Citizens are covering their ER medical costs.

Improper entry is a criminal offense. This includes entering the U.S. at an unauthorized location, evading immigration inspection, or using fraudulent documents. It is considered a misdemeanor and can result in fines or imprisonment.

Oh, I do know. I work in schools with over 60% ESOL students. They are precious, hardworking, and very sweet. Same for their parents. Nonetheless, I'm also aware of them often having large families living in small rentals and using the emergency room for many of their medical needs. Student support needs are high as well.

Being here without permission (illegally) is literally breaking the law (the INA).
