You are taking what people on here seriously? Come on |
When BRYC kids follow their coach they will be added to a VDA team. When a player is added often times, in order to make room, a player is let go. That is the math of it all. And generally, most players are not added to be bench players. Starters move to the bench and bench move on with their life somewhere else. That is how elite soccer is supposed to work. Enjoy your new TD. |
He is the girls director. Not TD. |
Yes him too |
You may want to research your new staff and how they treated existing players last tryouts, before throwing a welcoming party. |
Not everyone is throwing a welcome party. I still would like to know why scott was fired in the middle of the year. |
Oh please, Mikey coached my Kid for years and we never saw any problems with how tryouts were conducted. |
Also we did not have many players at all tryout for my DD’s team and I know the 2004 team was light on players... I don’t know if this was meant to be a dig at Mikey but It really is not true |
Current ECNL players cannot attend other ECNL tryouts until May 1st: "ECNL Member Clubs may not train, invite a player to train, invite a player to tryout or try out a player from an ECNL Team of another ECNL Member Club prior to May 1 of the ECNL Season, unless the player has been released by their current ECNL Member Club" https://www.dropbox.com/s/lq92aegr8zu05r3/ECNL%20Competition%20Rules%202019-2020.pdf?dl=0 Just wait, they'll be coming. |
I think I speak for most VDA parents when I say we want to have the best club possible, if there is an infusion of talent at the older age groups it may help those players get recruited? |
| Why do ID sessions before May 1st if you have this restriction? |
I love this, everyone always thinks their kid is safe. |
It is a anti poaching rule. Non ECNL kids can tryout just not ECNL players. |
Safe? What are you talking about, this is youth soccer. |
Are players allowed to ask the club if they can come? It looks like the club isn't allowed to do the asking but players can? |
