What's going on with FCBEscola NOVA?

Is Escola playing in leagues this fall?

Or, are they doing scrimmages within their own program? If so, are the scrimmages on saturdays or sundays usually?

Hey, I’m confused on the uniform and thought someone could answer. Which shorts, socks and jersey go together for home and away, now that we have everything in?

Hi, did you get word to order? I’m waiting until we get word from the Club before I order anything. I’m also not sure what the training uniform will be and the kids in leagues will have numbers printed on the back and that’s not set up yet in soccer.com.

At least I think—-did you get an email to order?

Well, maybe I misunderstood something? Since we are starting in August, which is just a couple of weeks from now, I figured we are supposed to order so that we have the practice kit at minimum. And I already knew that it's on soccer.com, so I just went there and ordered. In all of our club experiences, we never get told to order per se, just where to order and the general assumption is always to do it sooner so you don't face delays or back orders.

We’re waiting for an email with details about ordering. FCB has always been good about communicating and sharing information. One of the things we really liked about FCB last year.

What was the away kit and home kit last year?

Yes. Us too. I would not order a thing until I received the specific details in an email from FCB. The guys went back to Spain for one month--so I assume it will be coming shortly.

For the new person to FCB, last year there was one kit because the teams were not expected to compete the first year. It was navy blue with the fluorescent yellow socks, sweat suit. For the teams that ended up competing after all--they used numbered pinnies when needed.

At our former Clubs--we got an email with a link specific for the player. It had their number and personalization details--directly from soccer.com.

Yes. Deep breaths to the other poster. Nobody else has ordered so you are in the same boat. Just do not wear anything to training that has another FIFA team or Club. Last year, we picked up the training kits at Evergreen. They pre-ordered a bunch and you picked them at first day of training.

For the poster that ordered, I would cancel until you get official notification. I know they will require formal kits with individualized numbers, my guess is that they will use soccer.com's feature of picking the "team" and then your player's name with number assigned. I do agree, they should have had this out a few weeks ago given the start times.

Agree

And keep in mind, a majority of the teams don't even begin league play until the spring as is so there is no major hurry on the competition kits other than for fall tourneys. Lots of time for this to get sorted out.

The turn around time at soccer.com is under a week in most situations so there is no need to panic.

Agree And if they don't come in time, they have numbered pinnies (sp?) for tournaments like they used last Spring. No biggie. The World won't come to an end. I lived in Barcelona for a few years and we are way more uptight here in the States---and the DMV in particular. It's freeing to just stop sweating the small, irrelevant sh*t.

I took a peek after reading this thread and it looks like the site will launch soon. They are doing what the other poster eluded to, select age group, then your player. I did find it interesting that they made the goalie uniforms mandatory and they are missing socks for the blue kit (why have a blue jersey and black shorts and no socks?). Thought you all should know, oh and all the WC gear is on sale
