It is a Jewish state, and stating it that way probably does not indicate any antisemitism, but because it may exacerbate antisemitism in others, I think it would be better to refer simply to the State of Israel (or more concisely, Israel).

Actually, Hamas caused this crisis. They should pay for the rebuilding. But, we know that terrorists do not care about the welfare of the innocent.

Israel is an apartheid state. The Muslim world calls us the big satan and Israel the little satan. Why we get in the middle of a 2000 year old barbaric fight while holding onto the notion that Isreal is our ally in the Middle East is beyond me. We are critical of the attacks of Israel but not the instigation of Hamas, we are critical of those killed by Israel but not those Palestinians killed by Hamas. If Israel was doing this unprovoked maybe I would feel differently but Hamas is who keeps violating the cease fires.

It's not a Hamas issue. Things weren't any different before they came to power. Israel treated them just the same.
