Nothing really stands out to me. I'll be honest, I'm not into the grief policing. Not everyone weeps and sobs. When my mom cries her eyes just kind of water a little bit and she dabs at them like Erika. She grew up in a house where showing emotions was a sign of weakness and so it's hard for her to truly let go and cry.

To me it looks like Erika started tearing up and dried her eyes.

I do think the way she grabbed at the VP, running her fingers through his hair and pressing her head up against his chest was strange.

I agree. Nothing stood out to me, and I was one of the PPs saying she is unattractive and fake.

TBQH, a lot of the MAGA wives are either frumpy or just straight up ugly. Usha, Katie Miller, Lara Trump, Hegseth's wife whose name I don't know but I've seen pics and that's more than enough. Cheryl Hines was okay looking once upon a time but I guess the purse strings are getting tighter now that Bobby's on a government salary and on the outs with his family, because her filler is so bad that she's looking more and more like a cross between Brigitte Macron and a drag queen.

For people who claim their "women" are better looking than liberal cat ladies, they sure aren't sending their best as Trump would say.

^^^Weirdly the women who actually work for the admin. themselves are usually quite pretty. Pam Bondi and Brooke Rollins are good looking women and I think Karoline Leavitt is cute (unpopular opinion, I know).

I really don't think it will happen for a few years. If he loses the 2028 election he'll do it pretty soon after that, but he's going to keep up the "good family man trying to convert his heathen wife" image until then.

Doesn’t anyone else feel deeply sorry for Usha Vance?

She met a reasonably intelligent young man at law school who was deeply enamored with her and also a rational thinker agnostic/atheist, and a few years down the road she finds herself married to this puke.

So many of the stories at DCUM are similarly heartbreaking so I would expect to see some sympathy for her. She probably feels it’s best for her kids to keep the family together but I can’t imagine she doesn’t regret marrying him on the regular.
