It is concerning how there isn't more of an uproar that crimes are not being reported. The Marshall Project reported:
For more than 100 years, the FBI has been collecting crime data from local police departments across the country through the Uniform Crime Reporting Program, which has been the gold standard of national crime statistics.By 2020, almost every law enforcement agency was included in the FBI’s database. Some agencies reported topline numbers, such as the total number of murders or car thefts, through the Summary Reporting System. Others reported granular incident data with details about each reported crime through the newer National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS). Then it all changed in 2021. In an effort to fully modernize the system, the FBI stopped taking data from the old summary system and only accepted data through the new system. Thousands of police agencies fell through the cracks because they didn’t catch up with the changes on time. More than 6,000 law enforcement agencies were missing from the FBI’s national crime data last year, representing nearly one-third of the nation’s 18,000 police agencies. This means a quarter of the U.S. population wasn't represented in the federal crime data last year, according to The Marshall Project’s analysis. This includes NYC and LA! |

the FBI has been run by republican appointees since it was created. Law enforcement are generally conservatives and republicans.
If there is an issue with this, guess who it falls on? |
I assume you also went to poorer parts of each of those cities? You surely didn't only stay in the wealthy, touristy friendly parts of those cities did you? |
If liberal cities are truly overrun with violent crime gangs, why haven’t we seen any of these dangerous bad hombres fighting back against ICE openly abducting members of their ethnic communities? The only violent gangs I see roaming around blue cities committing crimes and doing shootings are thugs from ICE cosplaying as their favorite characters from the 20,000 hours they’ve spent playing Call of Duty |
If these cities are so dangerous, then why does big business only want their headquarters in these big cities? Why do the wealthiest Americans live in big cities? |
You can use Google too you know. It’s crazy how poverty leads to more crime. I am absolutely terrified when I’m driving through rural America. Methheads, psycho 1% biker clubs (usually also methheads), wife beaters, child molesters, disability fraudsters, and strange fruit picknickers are everywhere. Or do you not consider that “crime” because white people are doing it? |

This "red and blue" county talk on this page is silly. There are blue urban counties with high and low GDP and blue counties surrounded by red counties, some with strong GDP and some with weak.
There are red counties in eastern KY that (through no fault of their own) have been impoverished for decades, and red counties near cities that are very productive. Just a silly discussion that is exactly what the 0.1% wants. |
My son has low IQ, and I can assure you he does not assume this. Maybe don't resort to ableist insults if you are pretending to be one of the good guys. |
