Why do MAGA assume all blue cities are violent crime ridden hell scapes?

In the last six months I've traveled to Los Angeles, Boston, Seattle and Dallas. Oh, and Chicago. I ate in fancy restaurants, stayed in luxurious hotels, walked around beautiful parts of each city. Not once did I see a hellscape. Where are these alleged hellscapes? Where are all these dangerous criminals? I enjoyed myself and never felt a twinge of fear in any of those "blue" cities.

MAGA has been convinced via FOX (and its skill at cultivating groupthink) that all blue cities are disaster zones. They don't need to visit them. They take FOX talking heads at their word. You can tell them you've visited all these cities and show them photos of nice places and you enjoying yourself and they will just insist you're incorrect and lucky some crazed migrant didn't shoot you in broad daylight. It's not worth even trying to figure them out.

Sorry…the red counties aren’t anywhere near the cities and are the largest receivers of government handouts because they have so many people on fake disability and Medicaid.

80% of the counties that derive most of their income from government handouts are red counties.
