Weird random prediction. Like thinking Man City getting relegated next year.

So how would Arlington deciding to give up high level youth soccer, have most of the top players leave, and promote their second team to first team personally help you? Cause for them, that makes no sense.
Pay the troll toll, troll.

Because it’s MLSNext they want. Girls will sadly take a back seat.
Please provide proof that they want MLSN.

Hahaha suddenly an ECNL parent wants "proof".

Therefore I don’t see the benefit of sticking with one league or the other or being too loyal to this alphabet soup. Fear and panic are not going to help you. Chillax.

You keep saying that. I guess we will see in a couple weeks at COPA when the local ECNL teams play the local GA teams….

Panic is on GA trolling parent hence this whole thread.

Nah. Nobody cares about the leagues or clubs FYI. Just focus on your own player and make sure they develop and get plenty of playtime. Trolling is on both sides which which is childish . Either it is trolling or someone does not know anything about the beautiful game. Seems like the second assumption is more likely .

It does not matter. The big question is: will your player play enough to generate some reels? The rest is just some wins and losses nobody will care about a year or so. Grow up!

The title of the thread is a slight hint on the trolling origins. Claiming both sidesisms is weak, see Charlottesville.

Yeah trying to side step MLSN will definitely make things work.

Reels won’t help for this tournament. MLSNext teams won’t upload to TAKA.IO, which is always helpful for QoP team and individual player metrics at the U13 & U24 level. Good for recruiting as U15 gets underway.

Correction: U13 & U14.

Bethesda SC (MD) — Boys: MLS NEXT; Girls: ECNL.

De Anza Force (CA) — Boys: MLS NEXT; Girls: ECNL.

FC DELCO (PA) — Boys: MLS NEXT; Girls: ECNL.

Tampa Bay United (FL) — Boys: MLS NEXT; Girls: ECNL (and ECNL

Midwest United (MI) — Was dual historically; girls move to Girls Academy in Fall 2025, so no longer ECNL Girls. Boys remain MLS NEXT.

you missed a lot. PDA for one. And there's other west coast teams that have the boys and girls in different leagues. There is no way that ECNL would ask bethesda or PDA to leave.

Isn't this less about whether or not ECNL will ask a club to leave and more about if MLSN will put the screws to clubs asking them to go GA or risk losing MLSN?

They make way more money off boys. Twice as many boys teams as girls teams across the board.

This is called tying and is illegal under the Sherman Antitrust Act. Why would MLS (deep pockets) risk being sued for the benefits of GA? why would they want to tie their product to GA?

I agree but ECNL does this all the time. If you want girls ECNL you need to put your boys in ECNL. You definitely cant have girls ECNL + MLSN you also cant have MLSN for tier 1 and boys ECNL for tier 2.

The MLSN + GA strategic alliance was a response to ECNL tying boys with girls ECNL.
