Because MCPS doesn't care about students and staff. |
So many other principal on this list are also highly compensated MCPS bullies. Wouldn't be surprised if there are more on this list. |
I worked for MCPS for 1 year and have seen the worst violence everyday that it made me depressed especially because I was not allowed to help the victims, reporting was a "you must report violence but it is frowned upon" type vibe- it really makes a stressful job just seem needlessly dangerous, and teachers are so mistreated, u trusted, and gaslit people and we get no respect or protection. Just blame. I do t recommend this job. |
What was the purpose of posting that mugshot and how is it related to Valentine and Springbrook HS? |
What do you mean? |
It was deleted but someone posted a mugshot of an 18 year old who was missing and later found. Presumably because this was a Springbrook HS student. But I'm just not clear what that student has to do with a thread about Valentine being a bully and intimidating staff. The only connection I can make is that maybe he's one of the violent students Valentine refused to formally document and report about? |
too lazy to read the entire thread But what's the meaning behind the last statement - documenting and reporting? as in keeping things under the radar and removing them w/o going through central office? If that's the case, it's b/c central office punishes schools with too many disciplinary actions. You all know this! Getting rid of them quietly means the school community is safer and numbers don't go up. He's 18? an adult - See ya, later! Years ago, I was threatened in my ESOL transition class (in Spanish - kids translated). He said he'd "shoot me dead" b/c I disciplined him. He was gone the next day. Gone are those days as well when safety came first. |
![]() Good to know that school will never be the same with the current principal. Looks like MCPS should totally be responsible when they don't even TRY! |
Yes. |
Yes. |
Is that your Reddit avatar? |
Tried to find the mugshot you were referring to, the mugshot has no relevance to this person whatsoever as I tried to find information. Based on the search, the 18 year old was a student at both RMHS and RHS, so this literally has no point and is off-topic. |
Hereās how MCPS works:
1. Bad teachers become principals 2. Bad principals get moved to Central Office 3. Central Office supervises principals 4. The cycle continues until something ends up on the front page of the Washington Post I encourage the Springbrook staff to reach out to Alexandra Robbins. Anyone else with toxic school leadership should also speak to the media. |
Why? Alexandrea Robbins has moved on to her next book. She could care less. |
On point, on point. And when you look at how MCPS seems to look at this concept, they throw it all in the garbage can. There are some people who would work as good principals when you look at something like their LinkedIn, but who cares about that! |
