So.... she worked there during a summer break. For 4 months.

I worked at an AMC Theater and do have pictures, because the high school yearbook came and photographed us (I got a lot of my friends jobs there).

Otherwise, I would not have photos of the job from 1977. Now my friends could vouch for me for that job.

But I worked a job in college for 8 months.... I could not name any of those people, and would have no proof I worked there. I did not take pictures. It was in a copy center. I don't have paystubs or any other proof, either.

If you become one of the most famous persons in the world, all of your co-workers, managers, and store owner would come forward.

Without hesitation, would NOT come forward when it's MAGA types putting you on the spot. Nope.

McDonald's corporate eagerly wishes they could prove this is true. They can't. You think they wanted to admit yesterday in an official statement they can't prove it? They wish they could have boasted about her working at x location for x months.

Funny that you bring up cell phones. It was also during long-distance phones calls. It was very expensive to call Montreal from California in the 80s. Yet Kamala's only third-party witness to her Mickey D's job is an old Montreal friend who allegedly heard about the job from Kamala's mom. So Kamala's academic mom, not Kamala herself, was randomly calling 19 or 20 year old old friends of Kamala to tell then about her daughter's new job? Sure, sure. And this friend will only answer media questions via email.

No evidence is ever good enough for MAGAs, they just move goalposts.

There is little evidence that could be produced when records are dumped. People want to believe she would be remembered. If my former retail co-worker from college became famous 25 years later, can't tell you I'd know them. If it involved coming forward in the face of MAGA types, wouldn't speak up even if I did. But you REALLY want to believe it's a lie so you can pretend Trump doesn't lie worse or something?

It's not trolling. They loved the publicity Trump just generated and would love for Harris to do the same photo op, to generated even more publicity. And they'd love nothing more than to be able to prove Harris worked for them in the 80s. They can't. They aren't going to lie about employee records to help bail out some politician who lied in a book.
