He's been warned to pay back $135k he embezzled from a nutrition organization he and his wife started to get free federal food for daycares. They employed their daughter and several relatives and paid them excessive salaries from public funds. He also admitted to his wife having an abortion and no one paid attention to that. He also dropped out of the National Guard after a few months, and it has been suggested he was kicked out.

NC had made significant strides in promoting more equitable elections, including reducing barriers to voting over about 30 years, especially in the ‘90s. But the GOP purged all of it when McCrory was elected guv. He is an evil man as well as his minions.
