An NC paper did an article about Mark back when he was running for Lt. Governor.  He didn't file taxes for seven years and he's filed for bankruptcy three times.  He's been warned to pay back $135k he embezzled from a nutrition organization he and his wife started to get free federal food for daycares.  They employed their daughter and several relatives and paid them excessive salaries from public funds. He also admitted to his wife having an abortion and no one paid attention to that. He also dropped out of the National Guard after a few months, and it has been suggested he was kicked out.
