Biden is staying in.

Our president turned in a B-/C+ performance tonight, which is by far the worst possible outcome.

It means the coming week will be complete chaos. Intense maneuvering and palace intrigue is afoot. An historic party schism is threatening to erupt.

I smell panic.

The coming weeks will be the subject of one hundred books.

Will we ever know? George asked him at least three times if he would submit to a neurological test, and he demurred each time. "Every day is a neurological test."

That was just a little less painful than the debate. Time to move on!

And, he has done such a marvelous job so far.........war in Ukraine, war in the ME, Russia, China, and N Korea cozying up.......

I agree he should go but you cannot blame him for Hammas attack on Israel or Putin invading Ukraine.

Yeah. Putin only caused a "minor incursion."

Agreed. He did better than I expected, but was still pretty bad. I imagine it’s good enough to give ammunition to the folks wanting to keep him in, but not good enough to bring back viewers who were distressed by his debate performance.

Only God can convince him to withdraw from the race.

Well Trump isn’t doing one either.

In watching the interview tonight, I saw a frail man. I man who looked weakened by age, just as we all do in the final years of our lives.
I did not see a person who portrays the optics of a US President. I wanted to but I just did not see it.

Why did he say he didn’t know if he watched the debate?

That was better than you expected? Wow. You must have a really low bar. That was awful!
