7-2, entire TX order stayed. Fully legal, including by mail, anywhere abortion is legal.

Thomas and Alito were the two. Because of course they were.

Stayed for now.

I mean, speaking as a lawyer, the district court decision was just bananas. It would be hugely problematic for the Supreme Court to allow any of it to stand.

Thank you, and I say this as a conservative. They kicked the abortion decision back to the states. Each state needs to decide how they will handle things.

It was god's will for them to be non-functional. Why should they be subverting god's will by having access to Viagra?

Yes I am very concerned about this perversion of nature and the FDA needs to stop allowing distribution of Viagra immediately.

This is a nightmare

I’m shocked. Thomas and Alito were ready to burn it all down though.

Conservative here - I’m not. It’s a state decision.

Thomas has some gall - with the Grand Canyon sized gaps in his ethics - being prepared to wrestle medical and scientific authority and 23 years of safe use of drug on advice of extremist Trump appointed judge from Texas.

He really has no concern that he looks like not only a corrupt old fool but one with no concern for appearances, let alone function.

It’s pretty clear what the goal is - leftists want to overturn the SC balance through smears.

Oh please - Thomas should be impeached for multiple ethical violations. What right does this corrupt old man who has been on the take from RW extremist activists for years - have to take away authority from scientists and doctors to decide whether a drug is safe or not? He has zero qualifications and zero credibility,

This is not a smear but demonstrable fact.

TIL that Josh Hawley’s wife is the one who picked the judge and argued the case. He gave money to Josh’s campaign.

They are all so damn shady! Gross

I hope Erin Hawley doesn’t ever have a miscarriage and need mifepristone.

On the one hand— oh thank goodness.

On the other hand— you know they only did this to save Republicans electoral bloodshed in ‘24

I think women all across the country already know Republicans can't be trusted as far as they can be bowled. Proceed as if they are still going to try and ban it. Because they will, if given any chance at all.

Go ahead SCOTUS and ban it the summer before the election. The GOP will lose in a landslide.
My prediction is SCOTUS will allow the drug to be used so GOP can use that as an issue to excite their base. The problem is, the threat of Roe being overturned was a winner, until it actually happened.

Yes, that seems to be the plan in all of the Red states.

I don't see how states can individually decide what FDA approves.
