God bless the truth tellers! |
Maybe shaman wouldn't have pled guilty if this video was made available |
He was there. He knows what he did. |
Walked into a building. After violently smashing doors and windows, brutally beating officers, breaking their bones, impaling them, gouging their eyes, ransacking offices, going into secured areas, stealing papers, laptops and other materials and above all, doing it in an attempt to stop a legal election, which is a seditious coup conspiracy. |
You forgot to add: causing $1.5 million in damages that the taxpayers had to pony up for. And causing an officer to lose 3 fingers and another to lose an eye. And trampling on of their fellow rioters to death. And wiping their own feces around the building. Bet you’re too chicken to come back and respond. |
Nicky Haley said there should be a competency test at 75 years age or older for Presidential candidate. But reading some of the comments here, I think there should be a competency test of adult citizens (18 years or older) before they are allowed to vote. These commenters and people like them pose a danger to our democracy with their votes. They have education but are devoid of commonsense and critical thinking skills. It’s sad. |
Right, but wasn’t it a federal case? I know nothing about the shaman but doubt he’s wealthy enough for a protracted legal fight with the federal government, who have an extremely high conviction rate. Maybe if he knew that there was video which helped his case, he wouldn’t have plead guilty. People have often made untrue confessions to the police (believe it or not) and certainly will take a plea deal if they believe they have a chance of being convicted. |
Sorry for misspelling! |
Mostly peaceful protestors. |
Again, there’s zero evidence his counsel didn’t have access to the video. |
I’m sure he didn’t have those resources. If you want criminal defendants to have more resources, then start voting for democrats. The republican position is that there’s nothing wrong with prosecution having far superior resources. You got what you voted for. |
