How many Black Republicans were at this Republican event to celebrate the murder of Brionna Taylor?

What about Black liberals? They are the counterpoint to Black conservatives.

Malcolm X wasn’t writing in a time when Black Democrats were elected all around the country at all levels of government.

The whole point of OP's stupid thread is that Black conservatives don't exist unless they are pandering fools/tokens. This is talking point that seems entrenched in the black community and American politics. If there are white conservatives then there are also black conservatives. But liberals only talk about Blacks as Democrats (party ID) and never as liberals/conservaties because Black Americans and Black immigrants are generally more conservative. This is a nuanced subject that most people don't seem to understand.

Blacks make up 0.9% of American conservative politics but to hear them yammering here on this thread and trying to claim every other prominent black in history as one of their own they'd sure like to try and make you believe otherwise.

The disdain you have for people of color who don’t think like you is remarkable

You seriously failed at reading comprehension if what you walked away with is "disdain for people of color."

DP. Whooooooooooooooosh...

Repeat: You seriously failed at reading comprehension if what you walked away with is "disdain for people of color" and "Whooooosh"

Do you even know what "DP" stands for? More than one person is calling you out for your severe cluelessness.

Yes, we know what "DP" means, your arrogance and condescension is really something else. The point stands \that if you truly believe Dr. King or Malcolm X would have been proud MAGA Republicans, you are deeply delusional. Not only that, you've repeatedly gotten a huge number of facts not only wrong but hilariously and embarrassingly wrong, like Trump improving worker protections and wages, George Wallace being representative of current Democrats and so much more. And you try to spin being called out for your repeated false claims into some contrived grievance of "disdain for blacks" was the icing on the cake. If you still don't understand how utterly, astonishingly clueless, delusional and disingenuous you keep showing yourself to be, then the "Whoosh" is entirely yours.[/quote

]BURN! That steak is SCORCHED, take it off the grill! I'm not sure the dog would even eat it at this point!

Not every Republican is a MAGA supporter. You don't need to be a Replican to be a MAGA supporter. This rhetoric needs to stop because it does nothing but further divide this country.

Trump is still the leading contender for the 2024 Republican primary nomination. Until those numbers reverse and Trump is no longer the leading candidate, we are very much well within our rights to keep smearing Republicans with their own MAGA. If you don't like it, you should take it up with your fellow Republicans, not us.

OMG. You clearly *don't* know what DP means. I did not write ANY of the things you listed. Why? Because I'M A DIFFERENT POSTER, you utter imbecile. Get a clue.

H

Malcom X would be a Republican today.

I'd throw MLK in there too.

You people are delusional. Do you know why King was in Memphis when a conservative murdered him? He was supporting a strike by sanitation workers who were demanding higher wages and safer working conditions.

James Ray Earl was a democrat. He was a volunteer for the George Wallace campaign.

Yup.

It's quite a show how ignorant today's "progressives" are.

You know that Republicans went hard right to woo the racists and realigned the parties.

Both Wallace and Ray would be MAGA today.

It is still ahistorical to say Ray was a conservative and to insinuate conservative ideology contributed to MLK's murder.

Ray was a violent criminal before he ever killed MLK.

Ray opposed civil rights of Blacks. That is and was a reactionary conservative point of view.

Conservatives are not segregationists. You people are insane.

Segregationists are conservative. Again, do you know what conservative means.

Stop acting like the liberal white suburban families with BLM signs in their front yard who profess disdain for living in black and brown neighborhoods aren't one law away from being segregationist.

I didn’t say anything about liberal white suburban families, you’re just making stuff up to feed your delusions that Martin Luther King would be a MAGA Republican and that the segregationist who murdered him wasn’t conservative.

I think you have me confused with another poster. I was responding to the idea that one has to be a conservative to be a segregationist. While this is generally the case, there are plenty of liberals who see no problem living in segregated communities and schools. Most of them are SJW warriors by day and nimbies by night.

+100
The PP thinks she is arguing with just one poster. She is most definitely confused. And the bolded is spot-on.

Here are some examples of why you are very very wrong to claim MLK as a Republican:

Apart from being conservative in his religious views, MLK had far more in common with Democratic Socialists than he did with Republicans.

Read his letters - https://kinginstitute.stanford.edu/king-papers/documents/coretta-scott

Read Cornel West - https://books.google.com/books?id=PHAOBAAAQBAJ

Read the papers and articles that looked his views https://www.jstor.org/stable/40015109

His pursuit of economic justice - https://books.google.com/books?id=M0JvDwAAQBAJ&pg=PA82#v=onepage&q&f=false

The numerous essays https://www.huffpost.com/entry/the-uncompromising-anti-capitalism-of-martin-luther-king-jr_b_4629609

As anti-capitalist, and anti-military - https://theintercept.com/2016/01/18/martin-luther-king-jr-celebrations-overlook-his-critiques-of-capitalism-and-militarism/

While he rejected communism, he wholly embraced democratic socialism. His core movement was complete antithesis to modern Republicanism.

The left really hates it when a black person doesn't follow the Dem party line.

He just had the audacity to state what many of you are thinking.

After all, if you didn't vote for Biden then "You ain't black."

I keep alternating between wondering why conservatives keep grossly embarrasing themselves on this thread versus wondering if it has all just been a parody thread to begin with.

Oh, honey. I struggle nowhere near as much as you seem to be struggling with earnestly and honestly acknowledging how much worse GOP has done you in the last 50 years. 😏

This. They are trying to maintain a choke hold on the black vote because otherwise they would be dead in the water. They have been doing the same with Hispanic voters who, in some cases, are more conservative than African-American voters. Dems have been playing the race card, and identity politics, as a pretext for liberal/progressive values.

LMAO sure. This one random dude on Twitter with only 21 followers has established a choke hold on Black and Hispanic voters. Right, right. Totally this. Totally.
