Black Conservatives

Is it just me or have they gotten weird? Gone are the days of Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell and Edward Brooke and now you have goobers like Diamond and Silk, Candice Owens, Byron Donalds, Burgess Owens, etc.

They are so quick to proclaim they're not like the others because they are Republicans and they want a gold star for it because they think differently. It's like, nobody cares, you aren't special.

Also no, black people will.never vote Republican en masse again. Enjoy being a puppet.

You’re not paying attention. The percentage of Black people, especially Black men, voting Republican is increasing.

Also, the majority of Black people are socially moderate to conservative. Republican racism alienates them, so they vote Democrat…but don’t confuse yourself that they have much in common with ultra liberal white people spouting progressive jargon.

I think 'republican [insert offense] alienates them' explains more votes for democrats that democrats would like to admit, and not just among minority voters. UMC white professionals turning en masse to the democratic party has more to do with republicans than democrats

No one wants a gold star. Black people in mass became more educated overall, thanks to affirmative action.

You’re exactly right. As an immigrant who finds the “progressive” social agenda absolutely abhorrent, I end up voting Democrat or staying home because Republicans are so xenophobic. If Republicans turned the hate down even one notch, I’d never vote Democrat again.

The Right likes to play identity politics worse than the left. They find a Black, Latino, LGBTQ, or whatever conservative and pay them to be the useful idiot. Purely for an agenda to somehow get a pass that they aren’t bigoted. But then the people who really run the show are as bigoted as ever.

Just look at Dave Rubin for example. The token gay conservative. Then he went and announced that he and his husband were going to father children through a surrogate, and their “fans” lost their sh t over it.

Candace Owens, meanwhile, talks about the “wrong” kinds of Black people with the same dog whistles as the white men who pay her.
