DP. It certainly was safe enough for all the masked people to take off their masks and eat lunch together - laughing and talking while sitting right next to one another. I guess Covid knows when the masks are on and when they’re off. So curious. ![]() ![]() |
Nope, I disagree with you. But I understand why it’s very important for you to think that. I wish you types who angrily pass judgement, condemn, and make up stories about folks you don’t know would understand something. You claim to “care for people”, yet your words and, at times, your actions don’t say that at all. |
DP. You’re making a fool of yourself by lobbing insults at normal, rational people. You are clearly anything but. I’m sitting in a salon - in Alexandria - right now and some people are masked, some aren’t. No one is yelling at anyone and everyone is fine. I wonder how you manage in polite society. Must be exhausting to be around you. |
+100 And “theater for his supporters”? So bizarre. Normal people don’t call that theater. The PP needs therapy. |
So strange, because I treat people with respect no matter how they’re dressed. Don’t worry about me-I think I’ll manage just fine in spite of your strong disapproval! ![]() |
Prepare for your comment to be deleted. Stacey Abrams is off limits and can do no wrong. |
Yup, that always seemed silly to me too but it is still best to mitigate when it is pretty easy to do so. I mean, certainly there is some middle ground to be had otherwise restaurants would be closed for good more than have already closed, but that doesn't mean you don't wear a mask indoors when it otherwise makes sense to do so. There is hypocrisy all over the place. How many MAGA types post memes about playing in dirt as a kid "building their natural immunity" but somehow because a mask you wear in the store is just "too filthy" to build natural immunity? People are not good at assessing their actual level of risk if they were good at it we wouldn't need seatbelt laws and even more frightening we wouldn't need laws for car seats for children. People honestly argued that it would be safer to be thrown clear from the car than wear a seatbelt. How many times did someone have to call an ambulance moments after some well adjusted adult who knew the risk and properly assessed their own ability said "hold my beer"? |
It wasn't theater? Can anyone claim that Youngkin has been a regular at that store? |
Me. Since you're so nosy (and sounds snobby) I needed to buy a bunch of gatorade for several sports teams. You can get an 8 pack for $5 which is almost half the price anywhere else and they have the flavors the kids requested. What's wrong with Aldi? You're too good for it? |
Does the salon request patrons wear masks? If not I don’t see the problem—if so, YTA. Sorry! |
I have nothing against Aldi but I'm sure you left shopping carts all over their parking lot though. When you take up two parking spaces is it because you suck at backing in or is it because you just don't care? |
When you can't be bothered to wear a mask inside during a pandemic you are not showing any respect to anyone. |
Quite the day for the oppressed person. Picking up lots of gatorade for the teams and going to the beauty salon. I'm sure Chad will get an earful about how hectic your day was when he gets home from the office. |
Ahh the fiction writer has returned! She knows more about you than apparently you do! I also think your Aldi shopping cart comment is hilarious because everyone knows you put the cart back so you can get your quarter back. ![]() |
What are you talking about? Politicians make appearances all over the place. This was no different. Masks are not mandated there. Not sure why you can’t grasp this fact. The more you make of this nothingburger, the more idiotic you appear. |
