It'd be nice if police departments and the FBI would use all the resources that they used to find this guy and instead apply it to all the other murders, rapes, assaults, and carjackings where the victim wasn't a health insurance CEO making a gazillion dollars. Just imagine how good this country would be if the police and the FBI were bringing it to solve carjackings and drive-by shootings and putting those people away for life.

This seems like a real waste of resources. Plus, the entire country was rooting for the shooter.

He allegedly previously or currently had a tech job in Hawaii, so not an abnormal place for him to go and lay low. Seems like he planned the shooting better than what he’d do after.

Citizens aren't going to turn in carjackers. The carjackers are released to the neighborhood to get even with the snitches.

Maybe he wants the trial, to be a show and reflect the anger everyone has about this case. Would certainly be if he’s acquitted.

If you go back far enough, his entire family was from Africa.
