VRSC

What it really means? Loudoun UTd gets fields for training and doesn’t run down Segra. VRSC gets branding to never run out of paying customers

Plus, DC United is a minority owner of Loudoun United as well as DC Power (new women's pro team). This gives VRSC direct ties to both men's and women's pro teams.

This is all part of a plan that has been apparent for the last 18 months to anyone who was willing to open their eyes. Mark these words, 5 years from now, and perhaps much sooner, VRSC will be the preeminent club in NOVA. They have vision, a plan, financial resources, and multiple instances of actually doing what no one thought they could do (acquiring the very best home facility in NOVA, GA, MLSN, a first pro team, a residential academy, and now a second pro team with close ties to the top pro team in the region). If you don’t see DC United and Washington Spirit on the horizon, you’re blind. They are on a path to being on an entirely different level than every club in NOVA.

Wow they have everything! Except the ONLY 3 things that matter. Good players, good coaching, and a good product on the field are nowhere to be found

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

By the way, their GA coaching staff is hands down the best ECNL or GA staff in the DMV. Please, tell me which club has a better girls staff and why?

Any where do you think the top boys coaches will go now that VRSC has two pro teams at the top of their pyramid?

Feel free to kid yourself, as you’ve done for the last year, but the writing is on the wall.

Sounds like something you might have said about a male pro signing last year. Do you really think VRSC won’t tie up with a professional women’s team (or two) in the near future? They have vision, a plan, resources, and a track record. Not a single other club in DMV can say the same. Certainly not NVA / LS.

Curious to see their long term plan unfold. Short term, Revolution has merged with a USL club that is hemorrhaging money. Massive seven-digit losses each of the last two years. They also don't have a pathway through MLSN, only a tier II regional league. No players pursuing professional or college opportunities would join or stay at the club.

This is great news but I guess it will never be enough for all the haters.

They have a partnership with DC United according to the announcement. This includes DC Academy who already utilizes the Private school and facilities during the day.

VRSC having the best boys or girls coaching staffs in the area is a funny thing to say.

2 pro teams? Loudoun United is a professional team. VRSC Pro isn’t a pro team. Pro teams have pro players that get paid.
