Just stop!! There is nothing worse than a parent who's kid didn't make it at a club and then they just bash the club because it didn't work out. |
I was wondering about this too. Weird, for sure. Did you find out what's going on yet? |
Weird unless the direktor is aktually getting replaced at the end of this spring as mentioned by a previous insider, he did say that the new dutch coach would never ‘over his body’ return and get $ from VRSC so who knows. |
Who? What team? |
Are VRSC’s GA rosters set for next season? Any meaningful changes from the current season, good or bad, for any of those teams? What is the logic behind how they assigned the six teams to the three GA coaches? |
Poor LS / NVA. Their worst fears come true with today’s announcement. |
Wow! Huge announcement! |
!! Holy smokes. That's huge for the club and for Loudoun. |
Not too late for sign up for an ID session! |
Not trying to be a debbie downer but is this truly a big announcement? Whats the difference for the 95% of kids who arent pro level? Will this help to bring in a better talent pool? |
Uh, yeah. |
“Bringing together Segra Field, RavenTek Park, and Audi Field under a shared vision makes soccer more accessible and inspiring than ever,” said Danita Johnson, D.C. United President of Business Operations. “This is a defining moment for Northern Virginia’s soccer community.” |
“This is more than a merger. It is a commitment to building a legacy of soccer excellence,” said Niko Eckart, current President of Virginia Revolution and newly appointed President of Loudoun United. “By uniting our resources, expertise, and vision, we are unlocking new opportunities for players and fans while cementing the region as a leader in the sport.”
Congrats, Niko! We applaud your vision, and wish you continued success in building the only true football club in the DMV. |
So we merged the semi-pro teams. I mean, Loudoun is exiting out of LSP. It makes sense to merge Loudoun United with VRSC, since they'll be on an island all alone while JK takes over LSP and then turns it into a giant warehouse. |
