These are rediculous comments by a Juvenile adult. Don’t throw everybody into a one person bucket. Why would anyone disclose what formations are used. The key is that your coach teaches you different formations as the player ages through the system. Many clubs don’t so look for a good coach who approaches this within a reasonable timeframe. If your dd wants to play d1 they have to adapt to different formations and positions. |
They obviously have a kid who thrives with kick and run after it soccer. They're in for rude awakening in the coming years when that falls apart. |
Gotta love the idiotic responses to legitimate questions that are especially common on this particular thread. The best part is when they claim a level of knowledge or expertise that their own words disprove. I’d be grateful for feedback from actual VRSC GA families (or staff). |
You have no idea how the game is played. Lord help your child if you are one of those sideline parent coaches. |
In general the style taught is the same across years but there can be a different formations depending on the coach and game matchups. Not much difference from time at FCV it’s still CZ’s program. The main difference is not as many good players so the execution is still catching up to FCV teams. And also no more BP who didn’t really follow the blueprint on his teams anyway and often encouraged more direct play. |
I can tell you for certain my DD is not a kick and run player. Coaches frequently change formation to address skill set of other team and as strategy to beat other clubs. Players need to adapt as the changes are made. Players also need to be able to change positions as required. Players who are not exposed to different formations always look confused in the lineups. The question was asked what lineups. There are several and often new lineups are introduced depending on available players and skill sets. The high school coaches also introduce their own formations. Younger teams stick to one or two until they are learned. |
They still deleting messages………… |
I wish someone would delete more of your drivel. |

How bad is the coaching situation that a former co-founder has been re-accepted despite the terrible and toxic fallout that occurred a few years back? Notice also no post or advertising of the new coach. Why the lack of transparency? |
You enjoy stirring up trouble. You do not conversations that could have been held and what issues could have been worked through. No lack of transparency with the parents. The coach he took over for moved to a new city and there was a need. But again you all want to make VRSC look like it is toxic and bad which it is not. But, if you know about his leaving then you are a disgruntled parent that has left so of course you want to throw shade on the club. |

Ya they both toxic and intoxicated |
Is VRSC still holding talent id sessions for its high school ga teams? |
All year round. It’s about the flashy quick fix, so if you player is that type you’ll fit right in. Money over everything baby |
