Why is Blake Lively so overrated?

That describes about 90% of the posters on this board as well.

Hmmm, how do we take a hyperpolarized thread and truly make it into a dumpster fire. Oh I know! Bring up Kate Middleton!

Is leaking evidence like that voice record bad for his case? Could the future judge scold them for not waiting to the trial?

No, you can release whatever you want if its lawfully in your possession

Folks, just because it is alleged in a Complaint, doesn’t mean it’s true. It often is not. This goes for both sides.

My own opinion is that the context of all the sexual talk is going to be planning the intimacy scenes.

I agree with this.

However I do think that what is alleged in Lively's complaint is quite bad. If she can prove it, I think she deserves to win. I don't know if she can prove it and will keep an open mind. But if it happened mostly as she described, my heart goes out to not just Lively but other people on that set because it sounds like a really toxic environment.

I say that even though I also think Lively has conducted herself pretty poorly in the past and I strongly dislike her based on her public behavior. But even a crap person can wind up in a bad employment situation, and there are laws about that. So even though I think she kind of sucks, if her complaint turns out to be true, I hope she recovers money and that Baldoni sees consequences for behaving this way. IF it's proven.

Based on.... literally nothing. Your opinion is based on nothing.

My opinion is based on what Justin alleged in his complaint against The NY Times and what logically makes sense.

I agree with this. Like the “sexy” comment. His response was it was about the character’s outfit and in response to Lively’s concerns about the character’s look, backed up by the “sexy beanie” (barf) text.

I agree. She sucks, but if a lot of less powerful people on set (cast and crew) were also subjected to this hostile and toxic environment, it's good she is speaking up.

I really don’t like either of them. She is condescending, he seems millennial hipster in an annoying way, but this far, he’s side has been supported more by the documentary evidence that has been released. That could change as the lawsuits play put. But the sexy beanie text is one example of that. The altered texts is another.

I go back to she wanted a rom com (as another PP said, I believe rightly) and never read the book which is very much not a rom com (became successful as an "ugly cry" book)

You think BL wanted to turn the story into a rom com? Are you high?

DP. Have you seen her interviews marketing this movie? She basically brushes off any questions about domestic violence and is like, "Oh, it's a sexy film! Go see it with a bunch of your girlfriends, wear FLOWERS!!!" She's shockingly tone-deaf and does appear to think this is a romcom.

I see no evidence that somehow he has been supported by any documentation. He has produced scant evidence that addresses the majority of her claims. It's more a case of seeing what you want to see.

You see what you want to see. She alleged that she was offended when he called her sexy, then he provided texts where she sent tho him calling herself sexy. Her side altered texts or presented them out of context text in a way that was deceptive.

Nah, she complained that he inappropriately called her sexy and he produced a text she sent him in which she made wardrobe choices based on what she said made her look sexier. Her side edited texts or placed them out of context to deliberately change their meaning. She complained that the intimacy coordinator wasn’t involved enough and he produced a text where she refused to meet with the intimacy coordinator at all pre production.
