He was a bit goofy goober on the show. His fake aw shucks persona was exposed by his ex. That aside, and only based on physical attractiveness, he was too good looking for that bunch, except maybe Edith. |
Pathetic and tragic. |

JMHO
He has never received so much attention in his life and is loving every minute of it. I’ve run into him in the airport, as have friends of mine and his head is on a swivel, always looking to take photos! He wants to be noticed and loves attention from women. Most recently he was touting his new BMW on socials.. this is not a man who wants to be married and living a quiet life. I’m making a prediction that he is public with someone else within 90 days. |
Yeah I can totally believed that for the first time in his life he has some money in his pocket and is receiving flattering attention from lots of attractive women. He was not in love with Theresa, he is in love with himself. Good luck to his next mark(s). |

Gerry now set himself up for a promising future as a Gigolo!
|
| He’s an ugly tacky cheeseball. |
More importantly, not a nice guy. Any woman who hooks up with him at this point is a fool. |
I can see this being true. He seems like a dork so now in addition to money he finally feels like the BMOC. |
Big cultural gaps, absolutely. I suspect he would not fit in well in New Jersey long term, he stands out like a sore thumb. As a sidenote, I also never bought that she would leave her daughter and her daughter's family. And I suspected her daughter would not easily separate either. His daughters might have felt the same: Reluctant to let their parent go. |

The source said "it was never going to work" between the pair, especially since "they never lived together" after tying the knot on live TV in January.
"Things have been tough for months," the source confessed. "They’ve been fighting since right after the wedding." |
Yeah if they couldn't push through to enjoy the free paid honeymoon, it was very bad. |
|
Why did they rush into getting married? On the show he was professing his love for various women and changing his mind quickly. I was interested in the show - how fun for older people to find a match. But as I watched it, i found him just yuck. Are the contestants pressured to get married? Teresa seemed smart so I don’t know know why she went thru with the wedding. He seemed like an unpolished dork who says whatever is convenient.

Yes, they were pressured by producers and given financial incentives as well. They received "talent fees." "As it turns out, the Bachelor couples who get married and opt for the televised affair can receive some hefty paychecks–and while its unclear what Gerry and Theresa may have been offered, past couples have earned anywhere from $25,000- $1 million for airing their weddings on TV." Poor Theresa bought into the tightly crafted GB persona and thought Gerry was a prince. Um, no. She seemed a lot less giddy once the ex's account was made public. And much less happy after all after getting to know the real him, who is controlling and cheap per his ex. |
| Look at his Instagram where he visits the nursing home. The way he phrases things says a lot about him. |
