I went to a Big 3 and now go public, too. I hated it! So happy my kids don't have to go through all that pressure.

I went to a Big 3, Ivy League college, and kids have done both public and private, currently in public. Of my core group of friends from my Big 3 school all have kids in MCPS.

OP is it unusual among your Big 3 classmates to send kids to public school?
