Not pp, but I found it on instagram and it’s for like 3 boys’ age groups. |
| just noticed there’s still one tryout for some age groups. Does anyone know if this means they are still looking for players? |
The girls tryouts did not even start yet |
On the Boys side they’re always looking for players. Weaker players to make up the numbers. And a really good player will always stand out. Each group is also different in terms of needs, some top teams could use help while others are more set. |
| Offers have gone out for some teams on the Boys side |
| There were a bunch of BSC girls at the Potomac U11/U12 tryouts yesterday. Interestingly, I thought the BSC younger girls' tryouts were conducted better than the PSA ones. BSC had more coaches and actually moved kids between various ability groups. PSA had 2 coaches per age group and once scrimmages started, the kids were not moved. |
| Why is it taking so long for the club to announce the coaching slates for the you ger girls? May have something to do with why some are trying out elsewhere. |
| I think all of the coaches on the boys side have been announced |
| Is it posted or just announced? |
Are the u9 coaches solid for the boys? |
FG is lovely, former pro player, knows the game inside and anyone I’ve asked about him has always spoken highly of him. AO is new to the club but also has a long history as a pro and coach, very strong understanding of the game and development. And neither of them are yellers, they don’t use fear to coach. |
| Speaking of going down, ML looking pretty ordinary with ordinary talent with 09's, 10's losing to PDA means they need to beat Penn Fusion to make playoffs haha good luck. 11's are stacked, you are the last hope before another downgrade with youngers. Going down down down over at BSC... GA will welcome you with open arms! |
The 10s are sitting in 2nd with only Penn above them… not sure what you are smoking. |
Never happened but great story. |
2010 girls will make the playoffs even if they lose to Penn Fusion so you don't know what you are talking about. GA is considered a joke by ECNL; you only go there if you can't make an ECNL club. Nothing wrong with that but the idea that players will leave Bethesda for a GA team because they lost a game is delusional. |
