When you think of "ten years ago" do you think of 1992 rather than 2002? I feel old... anyone else?

Am I the only one? Time's flying by in a flash. I'm 42. College seems like it was yesterday.

Same age. Yes. Just realized today that I've been in my field for 20 years. How did that happen??? Gah.

Days are long, years are short. I'm the exact same age and I feel ya. On the bright side, all my fave bands are now doing reunion tours!

yes, do it too. i'm 43 and i can't believe i've been out of college for 22 (!) years. have friends who have been married that long and with a 17 yo son and i sometimes can't figure out how that's mathematically possible.

i was just talking with my mom about one of my favorite teachers who just died. i was shocked to learn she was 78 when she died, so she was about the age i am now when she was my teacher. she seemed so old then! scares the crap out of me!

Especially when I watch my college basketball team play and realize I was in college before they were even born!

I think 2002, but it freaks me out because I had two wonderful people leave me that year and another wonderful person the year before. Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday.

I'm 39. Earlier this week I heard WTOP listing some of the stats on the incoming college freshmen. They were born after Cal Ripken Jr. broke Lou Gehrig's record of consecutive games played. That was a stopped-me-in-my-tracks-damn-I'm-old moment for me.

Totally! I am 42 too, btw.

I was talking to my husband's cousin about rents in our neighborhood and how thy could find something for "X" and I was reminded that we rented that place the year we got married--1998. I am about $1500k off. Yikes- that was 14yrs ago....more freaky college graduation was '92 TWENtY years ago! I thought I just went to my 20th HS reunion--even that was 4 years ago.

I still feel 20yrs old.

When I moved here in 1994 my rent was $375 for a huge apartment in Mt Pleasant.

23:01 here. When I was in college the very rare exception had their own computer and nobody had a cell phone yet. Not to mention the clothes styles and big hair in the late 80's!

My college class is organizing a 10 year BBQ and I could not believe it when I saw the invitation. 10 freaking years!!! Feels like I just graduated!

When I was a freshman in college I brought a typewriter to school. No one had a computer; we went to the computer lab and it was open all night, but it was mostly for computer programming. You types your papers (or hand wrote and hired a typist!)
