I’ll say it. I don’t consider Palestinians innocent.
In fact this entire conflict has made me rethink if Muslim’s should be allowed in the US. I am beginning to think they aren’t capable of integrating into a western, secular democracy. I’m a democrat, and I’m really thinking that not every culture can melt into the US. As evidenced by progressive Muslims saying they won’t support Biden. They will sacrifice women’s rights for their religious dogma. They will sacrifice American democracy for their religious dogma. I’m very anti maga but this has exposed the problems with the far left and the democrats need to continue to reign that faction in. Mostly i think they do, but vigilance is required.

Organ theft has happened in the past. Read the newsweek article cited earlier.

Mutilated corpses and organ theft was accused yesterday in a letter and was reported and the allegations were reported by the Washington Post. There was no comment from Israel at the time the Post published the story. You cannot say it is an outright lie.

PP from above has a good point. These were 80 bodies returned by Israel. What happened to these 80 people while under Israeli custody?

Exactly. I’m the one who posted the Newsweek article. When I first heard somebody talk about organ theft, I thought it was absurd and clearly lies…. But I looked it up. It’s true. The question is whether modern references are restating the previously mentioned admissions of guilt, alleging new or continued violations, or just letting it be misleading which situation they are referring to. Either way, it’s not a lie.

80 bodies were returned by Israel. That is a fact. Yesterday the Gaza government media office put out a statement that bodies were mutilated and organ theft had occurred. Israel did not release a statement about this. You cannot claim it is a lie.

I read this in the Times of Israel:

Israel reportedly returns the bodies of 80 Palestinians who were killed in Gaza after taking them from morgues and graves to check there were no hostages among them, according to sources in the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry.

So the Israeli side is that they took these dead bodies from graves and morgues to check if they were hostages. Doesn't really seem believable.

I almost agree with you, but I wonder if this is a "Palestinian" thing, not a Muslims as a whole thing. Palestinians never really talk about Islam, religion, a god, moral behavior, any sort of golden rule, really. Everything is about I want this I want that everyone one else in the world has treated me unfairly Jews are disgusting stupid and bad and they are on my land. Palestinianism seems to be its own type of cult I think. No one needs to call themselves "Palestinian" when you think about it, they are Arabs (or Levantines), there has never been a country called Palestine. The amount of unbridled antisemitism on this forum is astonishing. I assume most posters are in the DMV, potentially my neighbors, friends, and colleagues.

As a person from a Jewish family, myself largely secular in day-to-day life, I’ve never doubted antisemitism exists. Over the years, people of all political and social stripes who don’t realize I’m Jewish have said antisemitic things to me. But I’ve always believed that these comments were not reflective of widespread antisemitism. Even with the uptick in antisemitic hate attacks and the rebirth of neonazism in the US and elsewhere, which is certainly scary, I thought that full on hatred and dehumanization of Jews was not a thing.
The holocaust and the horror of what my father and my German Jewish relatives experienced was far off and distant -
could never happen again.

Jews are less than 2% of the world population thanks in part to that Holocaust and the centuries of persecution and killing Jews have faced in the Middle East. Terrorist groups like Hamas, Arab nations, and hardline Islamic people globally want them - us - completely eradicated from the world. What has been eye opening since 10/7 is how effectively they’ve mobilized and normalized antisemitism.

Israel was violently attacked and so many people not only celebrated the murders of Jews, but blamed Jews for the slaughter and/or denied they these atrocities even happened or that Jews are even legitimately rooted in the Middle East … sounds so frighteningly familiar.

Another Jewish Holocaust doesn’t seem impossible anymore.

So in your f’ed up world view killing 22,000 civilians(the vast majority children) and making 2.3 million homeless for a Jewish state will make Jews loved through out the world? There are 7 million Palestinians and 7 million Israelis. The Israelis by government policy have said the Palestinians can not exist if Israel exists. The hate shown to Israel and Jews is because of the actions of Israel in the name of a Jewish state. There is no justification for the extermination of the Palestinian for a Jewish state.

Since you have some insider knowledge that organ theft did not take place (despite the IDF admission that organ theft took place through the 90s, which is in the Newsweek article linked elsewhere) could you please account for the death of the 80 individuals in Israeli custody?

Both sides of this conflict have been WAY too fast to make or believe outrageous claims and never admit they were incorrect. But saying it’s “Blood Libel” to repeat an accusation which has been previously verified is why people say there’s an attempt to paint all criticism of Israel as anti-Semitism.

I think Jews are not looking to be loved or hated. No one needs to form an opinion about "the Jews". Forming an opinion about a group only leads to stereotyping and blameshifting.
