I wish she had some real friends that would tell her how horrible the make up job she gets done at the Style Me Bar truly is! Eyebrows are way too dark. I can't believe "professionals" claim that type of work ....... |
Yeah, you just come here for the recap. What's the difference? ![]() |
I agree and I cuss plenty. But it makes them sound like a couple of middle schoolers who are trying to make themselves sound 'cooler'. Isn't Sarah like 40? Maybe she can discuss topics professional women might be interested in rather than endless sex talk and profanity. |
Why do you people care. If their podcast isn't your cup of tea, don't listen to it. I don't know why because you're over the age of 30, you have to suddenly change your personality. Because as soon as anyone in media turns 30, they only talk about topics that "professional women" would discuss. /s PLUS the podcast's second main member is SAMY. I can understand the critique if they are listed under "PROFESSIONAL MIND BENDING TOPICS" but they are clearly listed as an entertainment podcast. |
I like her makeup. Her, not so much... |
I definitely do not listen to the podcast. Am I not allowed to say why I don't like I and what I think she would be better off doing? Yes. Yes I am. |
Woah, "take a chill pill!" I DON'T care...just listed to them because I was curious of what others were saying AND because someone posted the link. And, that's what adults do...they try something once then decide if they like it. Since everyone else comments, I thought I would put my anonymous 2 cents in too. They're not my cup of tea so I'm NOT gonna listen again, but the real question is why do YOU care what I think and why do YOU feel the need to comment?! If YOU don't care either, don't say anything. BTW, I've been cussing for YEARS, am a proud 51 y/o and don't need mind-bending professional topics...get that every day at work. I want entertainment, I just don't need to hear the F word every other time (it sounds forced at times, by the way...as if they needed to throw it in to sound "cool"). ![]() |
Someone just posted this on Danni's latest pic....I hope they were being sarcastic....
Dannie I have to say that you have really put your journalistic skills to use when you did that segment with the Duggars in the cupcake story. Why CNN hasn't hired you is shocking! Lol |
It sounds like sarcasm to me, especially with the 'lol' at the end of it. Though, many of Danni's fans seem completely off their rocker, so who really knows? |

I've been somewhat a fan of HeyFrase podcast, mainly because Samy is just so damn clever funny (not IJ crude funny) and smart. But I'm growing less excited for it each week especially after listening to their third live show where Sarah tried way too hard to be hilarious with all the comments regarding Samy's tiny penis throughout the whole hour. There was hardly any laughter in the room and you can tell Samy was a little irked by it.
Mel's podcast is yawnfest most of the time, although some episodes are pretty good. It's one of the I-wont-fret-if-I-miss-it kind of podcast to me, though. |
And Danni replied "somethings are just on fun" Huh???? Does she mean "some segments are just focused on fun"?? |
Future Pulitzer Prize winner right there. |
For all the bashers of Sarah's podcast, first, she isn't 40, she is 34. Second, not every episode is 25% profanity, and I think there are people on here that are posting that they listen to one episode and jump to conclusions.
To the poster that referenced the 3rd live podcast show (meaning audience), I agree that the Samy penis jokes were getting old, and Sarah should have stopped. I think they are going to try and get the main show room for the next live show, which holds about 300 people I think. It will be interesting to see how quick that sells out. Mel's podcast partner has had parent issues for 3 episodes, out of 9. She had a fashion blogger on today, but she is one of Mel's really good friends. To the person that Kane is well respected in the industry, I find that hard to believe. When radio people (or TV for that matter) don't get involved in charity events, that says a lot. People like to connect a face with a voice, and being involved in public events helps with that. Look at Tommy McFly, several years in a row, he has been the MC at the Easter Egg Roll and the National Christmas Tree lighting. |
Tommy McFly is well respected in the industry? Bahaha!! |
