Why are people trying to run with this. Neither club is qualified. Not even for ECNL RL and Gunston got the boot from that a few years ago. Even if they were to merge, teams would be low level. Conversations between both clubs has been circling for years but never materializes because no one wants to give up any power. I think any announcement may be more line with what has been mentioned in other thread of possible inclusion into the Fairfax Onion.

I'm all for more clubs being included in high level leagues.

But, all the new boys and girls + second team ECRL adds will not equate to quality. But maybe that's the goal.
