Why does my partner pay $2400 a month child support for one kid?

Only speciality camps are $400 a week. The basic rec department is nothing close to that. And, none are $1000K at private schools. For $1K you get a sleep away camp and they aren't that much. And, most Dad's should have their kids summers so they are paying for child support and camp.

NP. How long has it been since you paid for summer camps? Lowell is $1800 for a 3 week session, which is $600/week. Not a specialty camp, just their regular summer camp.

Sleepaway is more like $1500/week.

Kids are expensive, and OP needs to understand that her partner will have commitments for a long time to come.

You must be wealthy. Plenty of cheaper camps. Kids don’t need overnight camp. They can go stay with dad.
