And, no, it is not politically motivated. However, those who were behind the triggering of the investigation WERE politically motivated. They need to be identified and investigated.

You know, if a president doesn't do dirty things like pressure aids to break the law and fire his FBI director because he wouldn't do his bidding, well then he wouldn't have an investigation launched against him. It's simple.

The investigation was triggered because members of Trump’s team were talking to foreign operatives.
Whether they reached out or not, isn’t really relevant after the fact.
