No bet. |
Another intellectual giant! ![]() |
Acosta and Thrush espoused pure ignorance yesterday equating a Statue with Immigration laws. The idea of National Park Revisionism theory only applies to the left.
FUN FACT: The National Park Service was created in 1916 ANOTHER FUN FACT: The Statue of Liberty was built in 1875 ANOTHER FUN FACT: The Poem was created in 1883 and put on the pedestal in 1906 in commemoration of the Declaration of the Independence. |
You are drawing a lot of conclusions about a two minute conversation. Where did you go to college? ![]() |
Keep reading. Eventually you'll know our history. |
Another FUN FACT, from Wikipedia. The poem was written as part of a fundraising effort for the pedestal of the statue. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Colossus |
Dang, some boomer is really bitter about their kid not getting into JMU! Its really hard to get in from Northern VA, don't feel too bad. Maybe he can transfer in later if he does well at the college that accepted him. |
lmao, NO. |
The left calls all of this "alternative facts" |
that's fine - if we can mirror canada's immigration mix when it comes to sourcing. Canada takes in a lot more asians and UK citizens as a % and a hell of a lot less NAM's (non-asian minorities - africans, latinos, etc). I support huge increases in immigration from japan, korea, educated chinese, educated indians. I support a curtailing of chain migration from south of the rio grande, central and south america, the middle east, pakistan, africa, etc. |
yes - yes we do. quality of life is superior in those three countries. It is also so much harder to get into. |
ANOTHER FUN FACT: The statue of liberty was originally envisioned for Egypt and the Suez Canal. When Egypt said no, then the US was asked and said yes.

You would not be familiar with it .......... neither would Acosta! |
You can choose to ignore, but Miller's relationship with Richard Spencer are long documented. His statements about the poem and statue of liberty were not random. |
Glenn Thrush - the other reporter who got into it with Miller - went to Brooklyn College! |
