Missing Muslim teen found dead in Fairfax County - suspect arrested

Anonymous
I think there is a horror in people being murdered in ways that feel "avoidable". Our brains say, what if? What if shed walked down a different road? What if this murderer were not in our country to intersect with her?

Illegal alien murders Fairfax teen

The fact that she's Muslim is irreverent.

Agree x1000! Who cares what race/religion someone was. A beautiful young lady was murdered by a thug. Who shouldn't have been here to begin with.

Btw. You never see 'Christian girl murdered' or 'Jewish girl murdered'.

Exactly. The "Muslim" part was inserted to play up the "hate crime" angle before any facts were known.

If a girl in a group leaving church on Easter Sunday were killed, then the headline would probably say "Christian teen killed".

The headline wasn't to play up a hate crime, it was just factual.

How utterly ridiculous. The lengths you apologists will go to are astounding.

Think for a minute. She was out at 3 am. Groups of teens out at that time of night are often up to no good. But this group was out at that time of night for religious reasons. For good reasons, not bad ones.

But go ahead and bash her and the reporting about her murder.

Think for a minute yourself. She was out at 3am becuase it is Ramadan. She was fasting from 5am to like 9pm because it is June. Be a little sensitivity the circumstances before you issue a blanket judgment.

But 40 people are murdered every single day in this country. The details of any one of their cases could be used to build a story to support your own particular cause. But anecdotes don't prove anything. And meanwhile the real horror is that 40 people are murdered every day.

The first reports were that a group of Muslim youth walking from a mosque were inexplicably attacked by a man swinging a bat and one girl was assaulted, abducted, and killed. That sounds very much like a hate crime and I think people could be forgiven for jumping to that conclusion. There has been very little argument that this was an anti-Muslim hate crime since more information has come out. Most of the discussion has been about immigration or arguing that it wasn't a hate crime and that religion should even be mentioned.

You are free to post about any of the other 40 murders, but expecting people to stop talking about this one won't do anything about the others.

If people are being killed because of what they look like, the public needs to know the truth.
