Fire in upper NW?

Anonymous
I first found it very suspicious that the maid got a text message from someone. I thought that that someone was preventing her from being there or it was texted as to not get her involved. Someone was trying to protect her and I don't think it was the mother but maybe someone that knew the housekeeper (husband, son?). But then some other information is making me wander off this theory.

People are fucked up, immigrant or not.

I agree but certain type of crimes do have cultural signatures - and this guy was greek and in the construction business.

This will prove to be relevant, I am certain. PP is very astute.

Why do only three of the victims have blunt force trauma wounds?

Don't know- but they say all four were homicide victims.

Maybe one was shot, strangled, throat slit...

God --it's awful.

My oldest is 9.5 and the photo of that sweet boy and his mom crushed me. How could anyone do this??

No, not necessarily true. This is what the Washington Post just printed:

D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier said that the fire at the stately home on Woodland Drive NW was intentionally set, that three of the four victims inside had wounds ....

I'm wondering what happened to the fourth person. Of course they could have gotten trapped in the fire.

I'm honestly not trying to stir the pot, but it's making me think of the Lululemon murder a few years ago and how the police kept saying that it was an outside job. Maybe I should just shut up. It's just weird, that's all. I think it's strange that they even revealed that small detail.

I don't think this is outside the box. Most commonly, people are murdered by family members or people they know. I doubt this is some strange intruder.

Oh, so not like in Cheshire or Richmond?

Who abandoned the car, then? And, again, the police said all four found in fire were regarded as "homicide victims."

If one parent was forced to go out and get money, the intruders may have killed the other three in their absence with one method and used a different method for the fourth upon return, for example.

they are all homocide victims because The fire was set intentionally. There needn't be any other injury.

Right but wasn't the wife among the dead? I'd say that pretty much excludes her as the driver of the Porsche and thus excludes her as the murderer

Um, I think they were all "homicide victims" because they all had injuries unrelated to the fire.

I thought at boarding school or college. It's not the other daughter.

I was not implying the other daughter killed her family. Just there is no mention of where she is, while her sister is mentioned as being at PA boarding school.

Was at college.

OMG do you people not know how to read? Really, the lack of reading comprehension is astounding. The Media has been very clear. BOTH daughters are at boarding school. It's been reported over and over. The older one is about to graduate from Mercersburg in PA. It's the younger one they haven't discussed in greater detail. Probably because she is a minor. The press reports have all saI'd this. Read people, read.

No, they just make wild speculations on DCUM.

No, police are reporting that three of the four victims had injuries.
