You all have been arguing for SEVENTEEN pages and you think it needs to continue. Well be my guest

Who are you referring to? Not me. The rest of us are firing you as a Board referee. Now, go ahead. Move along and don't return. You have better things to do.

Don't be offended, PP. "The rest of us" is just this one poster.

Some crazy people too. Much of it is just one sock puppet tho.

Why, of course. Now the sock puppet is after you. Yes, the crazy person who claimed there was a widening achievement gap between Asian Americans and children of recent immigrants and all the rest of our children. Is that the crazy one you are referring to...the one making such a crazy allegation? I thought it was the crazy Asian on the College Board? Which is it ... Ms multiple personality disorder?

I agree. The woman who claims to be published with multiple personalities.
Anonymous
I thought the woman multiple personalities was tired and had said good bye. But, she is back again. She always says she's had enough and slinks right on back. Is she an addict?
Anonymous
No, I think one of her multiple personalities is a litter of sock puppets?

MCPS currently has a banner featuring two black students, one Hispanic, and two Asians. Not a white in sight. It's like those ads for condos that used to just feature white 20-somethings, in reverse.

When the last white students in the county have either moved to Howard or NoVa, or retreated to Whitman and Churchill, perhaps the powers that be can congratulate themselves on this savvy PR campaign.

I checked out that banner, and it appears they all have some kind of gold medal on. So it's likely this is not a "PR campaign" but a picture of a particular set of students who won something.

This thread is a troll magnet. The sooner we get rid of the anonymous feature the better.

It's the banner for the entire web site. There's nothing that identifies the students, the school, or the occasion. They are being held out as representative of the whole school system. The message is that either white students aren't wanted or that they are taken for granted.

ITA. This new tea bagging troll is offensive. At least the sock puppet having conversations with herself at 13:49 - 13:55 was actually pretty hilarious.

The Chevy Chase and Bethesda types will never admit it but we all long for the days when MCPS was 90% white. Very little trouble, kids got a good education, no problems with large scale fighting or guns in the schools.

Speak for yourself ... literally!

I don't know who you think I am. But kudos on your work at 13:49 - 13:55, it's actually pretty funny. Sock puppetting as art.

Great. You've had a booster session with your psychoanalyst and topped off on your antipsychotic medications. I too share with you your gracious applause for 13:49 - 13:55 and truth.
