Why anyone needs to sacrifice?

If WJ and Woodward both are around 20% FARMS then going to any school will be equally good.

No way. Fashion and video game design. That’s laughable lol. Sorry farmland and Luxmanor you lose twice.

+ 36% FARMS, lol.

3490 of 6462 responses selected B.
998 of the 3490 selected only B.

Taylor gave the people what they want.

It shouldn't be a voting excercise. It should be what's best for all students.

For example, most parents did not wanted to move form Churvcill to Wooton despite both being good shcool.

Yes who wants democratic principles with a democratically run school board. This is foolish.

This is best for all students.

All of WJ is pleased.
VM and WW are improved.
Lux and Farm get their new construction and coloring books.

3 solid schools around 20% FARMS. It will help all students. It's puzzling to see Super not go for this when there are no drawbacks of doing it.

Arbitrary 20% line is not what makes a good school or not

It does. once school having much higher percentage of FARMS it's not good for FARMS and non-FARMS both. Unfortunately we can't create around 20% FARMS for all schools in our county but whenever we can do it withoiut any negative, not doing it simply criminal.

Off course just having 20% does not mean you don't need to other things to have good schools. but it helps a lot.

farmland and Luxmanor were WJ before and always going to be Woodward. So they go from 18% to 36%. It’s good to have this extra economic diversity. More native Spanish speakers is a pro too. Who doesn’t love the extra diversity. Great new school with a greenhouse and theater arts. They will produce great talent for the modern economy.

None of the 7 Woodward options had 20% at both. Woodward was always at least 30% and WJ less. You’re not going to change it with a VM switch.

It’s over but if you have to pick, Wyngate.

I have no fight in this game, but it's not over.

BOE did change the recommended option during RM#5 ES after listening to inputs. Putting VM in WJ is very straight forward improvement from current option so it;s simply a question of Old Farm/ North Farm/Luxmanor famililes writing/meeting with BOE members one at a time and having discussions.

Yes this will go over well.

Farmland and Luxmanor walk into BOE meeting requesting Kensington Parkwood kids at their High school because they are whiter and richer than Wheaton woods and VM.

Crown study is PR nightmare and will take all the attention and focus. Woodward is done but for the farmland and Luxmanor folks trying to boot poor kids from their school

Actually, only in two out of seven options was Woodward 30%+. Taylor picked the worst option from that perspective and modified it to be even worse. Most options were 26%-28%.

I am not sure if any option had entire GP or KP in Woodward. BOE does not need to pick one of the 7 options. They can modify recommeded option and it will create range of FARMS in 20-25% in both schools. Modification won't impact any other school because swapping only needs to happen in WJ and Woodward to avoid ceoncentrating poverty in one school.

26-28% may drop to lower 20s if entire KP or entire GP is part of Woodward. It will help with families asking to not be split as well.,Win win for all.

Yes just pick islands to social engineer your arbitrary 20% quota at all cost
