DP, but often, those impacted down the line by these decisions aren't really paying attention. I started looking at middle and high school options when DC was in 3rd grade, but in my parent cohort, most families didn't start thinking about it until 5th grade when the lottery opened up, unless they had older siblings. It's hard to engage people when the decision is so far away. |
Your efforts to deny reality are truly laughable. Anyone can go listen and see for themselves you are wrong. Those of us who already went to the meeting already know. So does the school board. I'm concerned for you, PP. you don't live in reality. |
Well they already did. One from each class at AT did this very thing. The president of each class in fact so it sure sounded like an effort to represent the views of the entire student body. |
This troll is hopeless. But for anyone who wants to listen to the comments, all school board meetings including this one are recorded. https://www.apsva.us/arlington-school-board/school-board-meetings/watch-school-board-meetings/ You can watch for yourself the 4 AT students opposing the move and the 2 Langston commenters supporting it. |
Were they against the programming change or against the Langston move? |
No, because ppl are smarter than that. Whenever APS has tried last minute to sneak something past any votes or discussions, it has commonly turned out to be short sighted or ill-advised. Ppl asking questions is a good thing. |
100% they love trying to sneak half-baked or ill-advised plans under the radar. |
You clearly did NOT watch the meeting, liar. Not one of the AT students was opposed to the move. They clearly said it's "not about opposing it" and the Langston students were "more than welcome" to join them at Grace Hopper. They all asked for more transparency around the details for how the programs will fit in the space and interact and they also asked the board to delay the decision until the planning was better hashed out. None opposed the move. |
I did, but I do not think you did. Why are you trying to make this into something it's not. We can all see what they actually said. I posted the link. You just look ridiculous keeping trying to deny what.actually.happened. Like your hero Trump! |
I just watched it. You’re lying. Not one opposed the move. They want the board to increase transparency and delay to better plan. They said they support the move but want it better planned out. |
Nope this was opposition. I got the message kid and clear. They are not supporting the move. Did this go over your head pp? Or are you one of the AT parents who wrote their messages? Obviously it was coordinated. |
Stop making shit up. The kids clearly don’t oppose the move - they explicitly said so. They have legitimate questions about the planning and coordination. |
| Again, why does this one freak dislike AT so much? It’s pathological. |
I wonder why you can’t have a discussion without insulting those who disagree with you. |
Probably because the other person is lying about what children are saying |
